Chamber of Commerce Johnny Bates Memorial Golf Tournament
9/13/2008 - When: Saturday, September 13, 2008 Where: Breckenridge Country Club Format: 9/9/9 - 9 holes low ball, 9 holes alternating shot, and 9 holes scramble Tee Time: 8:30 am Cost: $75.00 per person/$150 per team (lunch provided) Prizes: CASH PAYOUT!!! Door Prizes!!! "Closest To Pin" Prize!!! "Closest To Pin - 2nd Shot" Prize!!! To become a corporate sponsor, hole sponsor, or to enter the tournament, please call 254-559-2301 as soon as possible!

9/26/2008 - Fall Festival and Car Show in conjunction with the BISD Homecoming and Parade. Event will be the weekend of the BHS homecoming football game. Friday night festivities consist of a concert by Shane Stockton (with Chris Pittman, Darwin Archer, and Chris Reeves) with vendor/food booths. Saturday festivities consist of vendor/food booths, the Homecoming Parade, and Car Show! Vendor booth spaces still available! $15 for a 10' X 10' booth and $20 for a food booth (for Friday night and Saturday). (Non-profit, school clubs, and Chamber members free.) Car Show spots still available! Pre-registration $10.00 and late registration $20.00. Car classes are 60 & later stock, 59 & earlier stock, competition cars, Harley division, modified, corvette, and trucks. $1,500 in cash prizes to be awarded!!! To register a booth or a vehicle, please call (254) 559-2301 as soon as possible!
